Responsibilities include managing labor and delivery, assisting with high-risk pregnancies, and providing immediate newborn care. The role requires a compassionate and collaborative approach to nursing, ensuring the health and safety of patients throughout their care. Qualifications • Required Skills: • Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience • Experience with high-risk obstetric patients • Immediate newborn care skills • Preferred Skills: • Circulating experience in obstetrics Common Procedures • Vaginal Deliveries • Cesarean Sections • Dilatation and Curettage (D&C) • Cerclage placements • Cesarean Hysterectomy (C-Hyst) Personality Fit • Outgoing • Friendly • Adaptable Required Certifications • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) • Basic Life Support (BLS) / Advanced Life Support (ALS) • Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification Floating Areas Potential to float to Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby, and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
