Occupational Therapist (OT) Location Wichita, KS Unit Information • Number of Beds: Approximately 250 active consults per day • Number of Staff: 30 (17.29 FTEs) • Staff Composition: 2:1 OTR to COTA ratio • Patient Ratios: Typically 8-10 patients assigned to OTRs per day • Type of Equipment: General acute care DME • EMR: Meditech Typical Hiring Profile Required Skills: • Minimum 6 months of acute care hospital OT experience • Active Kansas licensure • BLS certification Preferred Skills: • Trauma experience • Comprehensive stroke experience Typical Procedures: • OT evaluations • OT treatments Ideal Candidate Profile • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and high accountability • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic nature of acute care practice Additional Information This unit features a large therapy team operating in a complex acute care environment with a diverse range of diagnoses.
