Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Unit Information We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This unit is designed to provide specialized care for patients who require close monitoring and management. Location Dallas, TX General Information • Number of Beds: 16 • Number of Staff: 42 • Staffing Structure: • Day Shift – 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 PCTs • Night Shift – 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 PCTs • Patient Ratios: 4:1 • Equipment: Collaborative equipment • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech • Floating Requirement: Yes, to other PCUs and telemetry units Qualifications Successful candidates must possess the following qualifications: • BLS and ACLS certification Preferred Qualifications Candidates with the following skills will receive priority consideration: • Experience in PCU or telemetry Typical Procedures The PCU team engages in a variety of procedures to support patient care, including: • Cardiac monitoring • Administering medications and treatments • Patient assessments and continuous evaluation Personality Fit The ideal candidate should exhibit the following qualities: • Collaborative and a team player Additional Information We offer a supportive work environment with access to the latest equipment and technology.
