Registered Nurse – NICU Location Dallas, TX Unit Information • Number of Beds: 108 • Patient Ratios: 1:1 – 1:4 • Staffing Description: Staffed with RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs • Type of Equipment: Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, Vents, Oscillators, IV pumps, NIRS, Warmers, Isolettes • Documentation System: CPN, Meditech • Scheduling Requirements: 3-12 hour shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidays • Floating Policy: Contract staff float before regular staff, may include PICU, Pediatrics, CICU • Patient Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 year level III experience Qualifications • Experience with preterm infants (28 weeks and above) • Experience managing central lines and respiratory support for intubated patients • Experience with surgical patients, cardiac patients, and care of infants with tracheostomies • Advanced skills: Central line insertions, circumcisions, exploratory laparotomies, gastroschisis reductions, PDA ligations • Certifications Required: BLS, NRP Dress Code Royal blue scrubs Additional Information • Unit staffed with experienced professionals offering comprehensive training • Opportunities to work with new equipment and technology • Flexible scheduling options available
