Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED) Unit Information Location: Conroe, TX Number of Beds: 30 physical, 8 hall beds Number of Staff: 77 Patient Ratios: 1:4 Staffing Information Day Shift • 7A: Charge Nurse (CN), 7 Registered Nurses (RNs), 1 Paramedic or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) • 9A: 1 RN • 10A: Paramedic or LVN • 11A: 2 RNs • 12P: Paramedic or LVN • 1P: 1 RN • 3P: 1 RN Night Shift • 7P: Charge Nurse (CN), 8 RNs, Paramedic or LVN Equipment • Baxter IV pumps • GE Monitors • Ventilators • BiPAP/CPAP • Belmont Rapid Infusers • Portable EKG machine EMR Meditech Qualifications Required Certifications • Basic Life Support (BLS) • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) Preferred Qualifications • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) • Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) Typical Procedures • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIH) • Intravenous (IV) and blood draws • Moderate sedation • Tenecteplase (TNK) • Cardiac monitoring Personality Fit Looking for a team player who demonstrates compassion and empathy.
