Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our inpatient rehabilitation unit. This role may include occasional floating to the medical-surgical unit as needed. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists (PT), occupational therapists (OT), certified occupational therapy assistants (COTA), and speech-language pathologists (SLP). Key Information • Shift: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required • Scrubs: Red scrubs are provided, with the option to wear khaki pants and a red polo • Holiday Coverage: Not required Responsibilities As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will assist in providing therapeutic interventions to patients as directed by the physical therapist. You will also contribute to patient assessments, rehabilitation plans, and documentation of patient care processes. Location This position is located in City, State.
