Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Information Location: Chattanooga, TN • Unit Name: Emergency Department • Number of Beds: 19 plus a 4-bed psych pod • Patient Ratios: 4:1 • Unit Staffing: Day and night shift secretary available, along with scheduled day and night techs Monday through Friday. • Type of Equipment: Hillrom, Stryker, GE, Lifepak defibrillator • Documentation System: Meditech • Floating Policy: May be floated to psych pod or another emergency department within the system. • Certifications: Chest pain and Stroke certified Job Details • Schedule Requirements: 36 hours per week • Dress Code: Navy scrubs • Patient Experience Requirements: Strong focus on sepsis and stroke skillsets Qualifications • Required Skills: • ACLS • BLS • PALS • CPI • Active RN License • Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years Awards and Recognition Please include any relevant information that may appeal to potential candidates, such as links to videos featuring the department and any outstanding department/team awards.
