MRI Technologist Unit Information Unit: MRI (734) Location: Wichita, KS Floor: 1st Building: Main Entrance General Information This unit is equipped with a total of 3 MRI machines and typically accommodates a patient volume averaging 32 exams per day. Staffing includes 3 technologists during the day shift and 2 during the night shift. The department specializes in utilizing GE equipment and operates with electronic medical records (EMR) through Meditech/CPN. Qualifications Required Skills: • A minimum of 6 months of current MRI Technologist experience • BLS certification • ARRT (MR) certification Preferred Skills: • Experience with GE equipment • Experience in a Level 1 trauma setting • Critical care experience Responsibilities • Administer contrast agents as needed • Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality images Personality and Fit The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, engaged, and easy to collaborate with.
