Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Information Unit Type: Telemetry/Med Surge with PCU Number of Beds: 32 Staffing: 7-12 staff members including RNs, CNAs, and Sitters Patient Ratios: 4 or 5:1 General Information Typical Procedures Performed: • IV and Foley catheter placements • Chest tube removal Qualifications Required Skills: • Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Telemetry experience • BLS and ACLS certifications Preferred Skills: • Experience caring for post-operative CABG patients • Familiarity with Meditech EMR system Personality Fit Ideal candidates should be enthusiastic team players who are proactive and willing to take the initiative in patient care.
