Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) Job Description We are currently seeking a qualified Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing critical lab support in emergency situations. Job Responsibilities • Perform Point of Care Testing (POC) as directed. • Assist with clerical duties as assigned by nursing and lab leadership to support operational efficiency. Qualifications • Required: ASCP certification as a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or Medical Technologist. • Preferred: Knowledge of Point of Care Testing procedures. • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred. Work Schedule This position requires availability for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) with 12-hour shifts.
