Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Information Location: Pasadena, TX Unit Type: Operating Room • Number of Beds: 10 • Number of Staff: 54 • Patient Ratios: 1:1 • Type of Equipment: Multi-specialty • EMR System: Meditech converting to Expanse Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Typical Procedures Performed • Open/Laparoscopic/Robotic general cases (e.g., appendectomies, cholecystectomies, and certain bariatric surgeries) • Robotic orthopedic surgeries • Total knee and hip replacements; trauma orthopedic surgeries • Laparoscopic/robotic hysterectomies; tubal ligations; and emergent interventions Qualifications • Required: • Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience • Experience in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, and Gynecology • Preferred: • Experience in ENT and Vascular surgeries (non-cardiac) • Pediatric experience • Education: • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Personal Attributes The ideal candidate will be a team player who is proactive, demonstrates strong initiative, and is committed to maintaining an efficient workflow while providing exceptional patient care.
