Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry General Information Location: Bowling Green, KY Unit Specifics • Number of Beds: 36 • Patient Ratios: 4:1 with cath recovery, max 6:1, may stretch to 7:1 • Unit Staffing: PCTS on day and night shift; Unit Clerks on day shift • Type of Equipment: Remote Telemetry monitors, Alaris pumps • Documentation System: Meditech • Scheduling Requirements: Every other weekend required • Floating Policy: Agency floats first, may float to Ortho/Med-Surg • Patient Experience Goals: Strive for a 75% patient satisfaction rate Certifications • BLS • ACLS • NIH Requested Skill Set • Must Have: Telemetry experience • Advanced Skills: Knowledge of chest tubes, Dysthymia training Procedures Performed • Chest tube insertions • Bedside Paracentesis • Thoracentesis Dress Code Any scrubs are acceptable except camo.
