Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery (RN) Unit Information Unit Name: Labor and Delivery/OBED Location: Arlington, TX General Information: • Number of Beds: 23 • Patient Ratios: 2:1 • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Systems: CPN/Meditech • On-Call Requirement: 1 shift every 4 weeks • Floating Requirement: Within Women’s Health – Postpartum/Antepartum Typical Hiring Profile Required Skills: • Minimum of 1 year of travel experience in high-risk Obstetrics Labor and Delivery • Current certifications: NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, BLS Preferred Skills: • Experience in OB Emergency Department • High risk and high volume experience Responsibilities The Registered Nurse will provide care to high-risk obstetric patients, which may include: • Administering magnesium and insulin drips • Circulating and scrubbing during surgical procedures Personality Fit The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a busy environment.
