MRI Technologist Job Shift Days Unit Information Main MRI Shift Details • Shift Length: 12 hours • Guaranteed Hours: 38 hours per week • Required Years of Experience: 2 Years Required Certifications • BLS Certification • Certified MRI Technologist via ARMRIT Shift Notes Shift schedule includes Saturdays and Sundays from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM, and Mondays from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, with additional coverage for call and holidays. Unit Notes Seeking an MRI Technologist with experience on Philips 1.5T and 3T, as well as Siemens 1.5T systems. AMRIT certification is accepted. A Texas license is not required. Call Schedule The call schedule runs from Monday to the following Monday: • Monday to Friday: 11 PM to 7 AM • Saturday and Sunday: 7 AM to 7 AM for the following day If there is a call-in during the scheduled Saturday and Sunday shift (7 AM to 7 PM), the on-call Technologist is required to cover the shift. Currently, call rotation is once a month, though this may change based on staffing needs. Call back occurrences are rare, averaging 2-4 times per month.
