Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Facility Overview Join our energetic outpatient orthopedic clinic located in Decatur, IL, where a collaborative team environment fosters engagement among a positive patient population. Our team consists of both experienced and newer clinicians who share an exceptional dynamic. Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our clinic. This role is ideal for individuals with outpatient case management experience, strong communication skills, and an ability to work collaboratively within a PT/PTA clinical team. Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. • Assist in the management of patient caseloads effectively and efficiently. • Maintain high standards of clinical documentation using NextGen documentation system. • Support patients across various conditions, including but not limited to: • Achilles Tendonitis • ACL Tear • Back Pain, Post-Operative • Calf Strain • Disc Herniation • Fractures/Stress Fractures • Generalized Low Back Pain • Headache • Meniscus Tear • Osteoarthritis • Osteoporosis • Plantar Fasciitis • Postural Dysfunction • Rotator Cuff Non-Surgical Intervention • Balance Issues • Deconditioning • Neck and Back Pain • Vestibular Therapy • Manual Therapy Patient Population Our clinic serves adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Qualifications • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred. • New graduates will not be considered for this position. Schedule Details This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling options available. The clinic operates during the following hours: • Monday and Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM • Tuesday and Thursday: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM • Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Support Structure The PTA will work alongside front desk staff, rehabilitation aides, 2 Physical Therapists, and 1 Physical Therapist Assistant.
