Ultrasound Technologist Job Overview An opportunity is available for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join a dedicated team. The role focuses primarily on breast imaging and requires a strong background in both mammography and ultrasound techniques. Job Details • Shift: Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM • Shift Length: 8 hours • Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week • Orientation: 1 week • Location: City, State Responsibilities • Conduct 16 ultrasound scans per day. • Perform 25 mammography procedures per day. • Work collaboratively with a radiologist who is present on-site. • Utilize Hologic mammography and ultrasound equipment. • Manage patient imaging records within EMR (CERNER) and PACS (CHC) systems. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the six scan rooms. Qualifications • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in breast imaging, including mammography and breast ultrasound. • Certifications: • Current BLS Certification. • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Breast (RDMS-BR) via ARDMS, or ARRT-certified in Breast Ultrasound. • If certified in mammography, ARRT Breast certification is required. • Licenses: Arizona mammography and radiology license required. • Additional Skills: Experience with IVs is a plus, but not required. Work Environment This position does not require clinical involvement. There are no floating assignments, weekends, holidays, or call shifts expected. Attire Teal scrubs are required for the position.
