Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room Position Description Data Collection: 8/20/2026 Unit Information • Number of Beds: 7 • Number of Staff: 2 on days, 2 on nights; additional mid-shift seasonal staff from 10 AM to 10 PM (May-September) • Type of Equipment: Standard • Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Cerner Patient Care Details • Patient Ratios: Per ENA guidelines Qualifications Required Certifications: • RN License • BLS • ACLS • PALS Preferred Certifications: • TNCC • ENPC • NRP • CEN • CPEN • CTRN Typical Procedures Responsibilities include performing standard emergency department procedures and care. Team and Environment • Best Personality Fit: Customer service focused • Floating Area: Occasional to Med/Surg, but efforts are made to minimize floating. Work Schedule Weekend schedules rotate. No on-call requirements except during adjustments for low patient volume. Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience is required. Dress Code Scrub Color/Attire: Navy
