Interventional Radiology Technologist Unit Information Location: Englewood, CO Number of Beds: 5 Interventional Radiology suites Staffing: • Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM • On-call Requirements: 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month Patient Ratios: 2 IR Technologists to 1 IR Registered Nurse Equipment: • 4 Siemens Bi-plane systems • 1 Siemens Single plane system EMR Systems: Meditech, GE Centricity PACS Qualifications Minimum Requirements: • 6 months of current acute care hospital experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist • ARRT (R) certification • BLS certification Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in neuro interventional procedures (e.g., strokes, aneurysms, SAH) • Expert knowledge of vascular interventional radiology procedures with minimal guidance Typical Procedures Performed • Neuro procedures as part of a Comprehensive Stroke Center (including strokes, aneurysms, SAH) • Level 1 Trauma Center procedures (including gastrointestinal bleeding, embolizations, gastrostomy tubes, nephrostomy, etc.) Work Environment The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced interventional lab.
