Registered Nurse (RN) Job Summary We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team in a Stepdown unit. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care during night shifts. Position Details • Job Shift: Nights (7 PM – 7 AM) • Shift Length: 12 hours • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Responsibilities The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the following: • Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Stepdown unit. • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans. • Monitoring patient conditions and reporting any significant changes to the healthcare team. • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed. • Educating patients and their families on health management and care protocols. • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Qualifications • Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in nursing, with experience in a Stepdown or similar unit preferred. • Required Certifications: • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) • BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) • NIHSS Certification (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Additional Notes This position requires the ability to float to different units as needed.
