“`html Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Information Location: Pasadena, TX Unit Overview: This Emergency Department features 30 beds and is staffed by 49 FTEs, 6 PRN staff, and 2 leadership positions. General Information • Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 5 patients (acuity dependent) • Equipment: Advanced monitors, defibrillators, ultrasound, and EKG machines • Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Currently utilizing Meditech and transitioning to Expanse Qualifications Essential Skills: Candidates must possess advanced critical thinking skills and extensive experience with trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis. Preferred Experience: Candidates with both adult and pediatric emergency department experience will be prioritized. Certifications Required: • ENPC • TNCC • ACLS • PALS • BLS • CPI with TIC • (NRP and STABLE certifications are a plus) Typical Procedures • Thoracotomy • Arterial lines and massive transfusion protocols (MTP) Work Environment Best Personality Fit: Candidates should be flexible, accountable, responsible, and team-oriented.
