Registered Nurse (RN) Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our fast-paced team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to adults and geriatrics, managing a variety of conditions including cardiac, nephrology, strokes, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring. Key Responsibilities • Monitor and assess patient health and progress. • Titrate and manage IV drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications. • Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care. • Maintain open communication with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and progress. • Document patient care and maintain accurate health records. Qualifications • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state. • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. • Ability to pass a skills exam during orientation with a minimum score of 90%. Shift Details • Shifts are from 0630 to 1900 and 1830 to 0700. • Must work every other weekend and every third holiday. Unit Information • Bed capacity: 35. • Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4-5 during shifts. • Patient care tech ratios: 1:10 or 2:20 on the unit. • Orientation includes 1-2 days on the unit following a week of onboarding.
