ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel position in Eastern NM. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing critical care to patients in need. Key Responsibilities • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ICU setting. • Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes. • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans. • Float to stepdown and medical-surgical units as required. • Participate in on-call rotations as necessary. Qualifications • Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience required. • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory. • Must be able to float to Stepdown and Medical-Surgical units. • Strong assessment and communication skills. • Ability to work nights and weekends, including every other weekend. Additional Information This is a 13-week travel contract position with night shifts (7p-7:30a). Candidates must be prepared for floating and additional call duties as assigned.
