Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Information Location: Margate, FL Unit: Cath Lab • Number of Beds: 4 rooms, 1 patient per room • Number of Staff: 22, consisting of RNs and Techs • Day Shift Staffing: 1 Charge RN, Director, 4 staff members per room, 16 total per shift • Night Shift Staffing: On-call team, 3 each call team, 7 total • Patient Ratios: 1:1 • Type of Equipment: All GE rooms • EMR: Meditech and MacLab Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab will work collaboratively with a close-knit team focused on providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role includes scrubbing for various procedures and adapting to the dynamic needs of the unit. Key Responsibilities • Assist with cardiac catheterizations, cerebrovascular angiograms, stent placements, balloon procedures, and ENT lab scrubbing. • Utilize strong critical thinking skills to ensure effective patient care. • Participate in a collaborative practice model with other healthcare professionals. • Maintain effective communication and teamwork within the unit. Qualifications • Required: • BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certification • Competency in Special Procedures and GE Innova • Preferred: RCIS certification Best Personality Fit The ideal candidate will be a team player who can think critically and maintain a strong focus on patient care.
