Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care in the operating room setting, particularly for cardiovascular procedures. Key Responsibilities • Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery. • Monitor patient vital signs and response to anesthesia during procedures. • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room, ensuring a sterile environment. • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. • Educate patients and their families regarding procedures and post-operative care. • Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies as they arise. Qualifications • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. • Minimum of one year of experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting. • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Shift Information This position requires availability for early morning shifts, running from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Parking Parking is available in the garage on the third and fourth floors for both AM and PM shifts. Scrub Color Employees are required to wear Navy Blue scrubs.
