Physical Therapist (PT) Location San Antonio, TX Unit Information • Number of Beds: 299 Acute Beds • Number of Staff: • Full-Time: 10 • Part-Time: 1 • Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistants: 2 • PRN Physical Therapists: 16 • Patient Ratios: 8 patients per full-time physical therapist • Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech Typical Hiring Profile Skill Set Most Recruited For: • Must Have: • Current Texas Physical Therapy license • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Acute Care experience • Preferred or Nice to Have: • ICU experience • Vestibular experience Typical Procedures Performed: • Evaluations • Treatments Best Personality Fit The ideal candidate will be flexible, patient, a team player, and a self-starter. Required Certifications • Current BLS certification • Current Texas Physical Therapy license Floating Areas Will float to all areas of the hospital including: ER, Surgical, Pre/Post OP, Medical, Telemetry, Neuro-Medical, Stepdown, Medical ICU, Neuro ICU, and Cardiac ICU. Dress Code Scrub Color/Attire: Black pants and Olive top. Work Schedule Full-Time position with a typical schedule of 8 AM to 5 PM. Experience Required Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant setting is preferred.
