ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Information Unit: Cardiac ICU Location: Englewood, CO Floor: 3rd Number of Beds: 16 Staffing: 60 Unit Overview • Day Shift: 1 CNC/Charge RN, 8 RNs, 1 PCT (for census >14, 12 hours total/day – 1000 – 2200) • Night Shift: 1 CNC/Charge RN, 8 RNs, 1 PCT (for census >14, 12 hours total/day – 1000 – 2200) • Patient Ratios: 1 RN to 2 patients • Equipment Used: Cardiac Monitoring, Ventilators, IV Pumps, Tube Feed Pumps, Swan • EMR: Meditech Qualifications Required Skills: • Minimum 1-year current ICU hospital experience • BLS, ACLS & NIH certifications Preferred Skills: • Experience with neuro and medical ICU populations • Prior experience with Meditech Typical Procedures • Intubations • Central line placements Ideal Candidate Profile The best candidate will be a collaborative team player who prioritizes patient care experience.
