Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Information Unit: Med/Surg Oncology • Number of Beds: 13 • Number of Staff: 20 • Staff Composition: • Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 3 Registered Nurses • Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 3 Registered Nurses • Patient Ratios: Approximately 5:1, sometimes 4:1 • Electronic Medical Record: Meditech / CPN Position Overview As a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in the Oncology unit, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients with a variety of medical-surgical needs. This is a night shift position. Qualifications • Must have: • Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg/Oncology hospital RN experience • BLS certification • Preferred: • ACLS certification • Chemotherapy Certification • Prior experience with Meditech Typical Procedures Performed • Chemotherapy administration Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be compassionate, caring, and communicate effectively.
