Responsibilities • Manage plaintiff personal injury litigation from filing through trial or settlement. • Draft pleadings, discovery, and substantive motions. • Take and defend depositions. • Prepare witnesses and experts. • Handle mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation. • Negotiate settlements. • Develop litigation strategy and trial themes. • Appear regularly before California Superior Courts. • Serve as first or second chair during trial, depending on experience. Ideal Background • Approximately 3-10 years of litigation experience. • Plaintiff’s personal injury experience preferred. • Defense personal injury attorneys are encouraged to apply. • Solo practitioners with strong litigation backgrounds are welcome. • Strong deposition and motion practice experience. • Trial experience or meaningful second-chair experience. • California Bar admission in good standing.
