Locum Radiation Oncology | Oregon | Vacation coverage Details: • Location: about 1.5 hour from Portland, OR • Duration: February 2027 – December 2027 (option to extend) • Schedule: Ongoing Vacation coverage (up to 3 weeks of vacation coverage per year, long-term relationship to coverage sporadic vacation blocks) • Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm • Call: Negotiable, pager call very low volume for after-hours (Med Onc group may reach out; no IP/ED onsite duties typically called for questions on rare occurrences) • Scope: Radiation Oncology – clinic M-F 8a-4p • Patient Volume: 2-4 new consultations 3-4 days/week and approx.. 15 patients on beam at a time for on treatment visits (OTV) once a week • EMR: Cerner • Hospital: level 3 trauma • Support: 1 Rad Onc physician (locums will be covering his vacation), experienced PA who manages long-term follow-up and assists with OTVs/management of patients on treatment, experienced RN who assists with triage and management of acute side effects, experienced MA who helps with chart preparation and logistics in clinic, 3 radiation therapists, onsite physicist, remote dosimetry. • Require: BC, Active Oregon license (also open to license for 2027 dates) • Credentialing: temps 2-4 weeks, full privileges 60-90 days Benefits: • 1099 Independent Contract • A+ Malpractice Coverage • Full T&L provided • Competitive Pay Rates!
