Overview • Lead estimation processes for diverse projects in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate cost assessments and resource allocation. • Analyze project specifications to develop detailed and comprehensive cost estimates. • Stay updated on industry standards and pricing trends to maintain competitive estimates. • Support project managers in budget planning and financial forecasting activities. • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and client expectations in estimation processes. • Prepare detailed reports and documentation to aid stakeholders in decision-making. • Participate in meetings to discuss project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Key Responsibilities & Duties • Develop detailed cost estimates for AEC projects based on client requirements and specifications. • Collaborate with engineering and architectural teams to align estimates with project designs. • Conduct market research to ensure competitive and accurate pricing strategies. • Review and validate subcontractor and supplier bids for accuracy and feasibility. • Monitor project budgets and recommend adjustments as necessary to meet financial goals. • Develop and maintain estimation tools and templates for consistent application across projects. • Provide training and guidance to junior estimators and team members to enhance team capabilities. • Ensure all estimates comply with relevant regulatory and safety standards. Job Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimation within the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. • High School Diploma or GED required; advanced education preferred. • Proficiency in estimation software and tools relevant to the industry. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate cost assessments. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse project teams effectively. • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines efficiently. • Knowledge of industry standards and practices is advantageous. • Eligibility for end-of-year bonus as part of the compensation package.
