Job Title Registered Nurse – Telemetry Location Highland Park, IL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry/Medical-Surgical unit during night shift hours • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; must be able to pass an EKG competency assessment on the first day of assignment • Float to all Med-Surg/Telemetry units within the facility as required (up to 4 units) • Participate in an 8-hour classroom orientation followed by a unit-based orientation shift • Adhere to facility protocols, documentation standards, and patient safety guidelines Required Qualifications • Active Illinois Registered Nurse license • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required • Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience • Must successfully pass EKG competency test on the first day of assignment • New graduates are not eligible for this position • Required submission documents: resume, 2 professional references, skills checklist, copies of certifications, license verification, and EKG test with passing score Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience floating across multiple Med-Surg or Telemetry units in an acute care setting • Strong cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills Why Join Us • Opportunity to gain diverse clinical experience across multiple Med-Surg/Telemetry units within a single facility • Consistent night shift schedule with expected 36 hours per week
