As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.12 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, vehicle lots, entry points, trailers, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. • Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific requirements. • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed. • Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel. Minimum Requirements: • Access control and badge experience is preferred. • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
