Prepare billing statements and adjusting entries as necessary to ensure correct P&L for both reporting and billing purposes. • Excess of Loss (XOL) statements: Prepare and distribute XOL billings, meeting contractual timeframes, liaising and coordinating with regional reinsurance/finance teams on shared programs, and acting as a key point of contact for certain strategic reinsurers which require advanced reporting and query resolution. • Quota Share (QS) Bordereau: Generate QS bordereau for complex programs. Perform first review of QS bordereau outputs generated by Billing Analysts for accuracy before manager review. • Large Claim Movement Analysis: Own monthly analysis of material assumed incurred loss movements in excess by treaty and by Business Unit in order to identify and action on large movements in claims. • Reinsurer & Broker Escalations: Resolve broker and reinsurer billing disputes and queries, providing timely responses as needed. • Analyst Support: Train and support the Billing Analysts and Co-Ops; act as Tower Lead backup on a rotating basis. • Process Improvement: Lead process improvement initiatives within assigned programs, identifying opportunities to standardize or automate recurring billing tasks. • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, data analytics, or a related field. • 3–5 years of experience in reinsurance, finance, or data analytics. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across business and technology teams. • Experience working with large, complex datasets, including cleansing, transforming, and reconciling data from multiple source systems. • Proficiency in Excel and Alteryx workflow development. • Curiosity and initiative in exploring emerging technologies, including AI-assisted tools, to improve efficiency and accuracy in recurring analytical work. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Sapiens, PCW, or R360 reinsurance systems. • Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Qliksense.
