Job Description Position: Sustainability Ambassador (Internship) UNCW Dining Sustainability is seeking student interns to serve as Sustainability Ambassadors for the Fall 2025 semester. This is an excellent opportunity to participate in hands-on sustainability initiatives within campus dining and gain experiential knowledge in food service sustainability. Our programs include multi-stream waste diversion, microgreens and shoots, aquaponics, and environmental certifications and grants, and sustainability education initiatives. Job Responsibilities • Student Duties Include: - Maintain microgreens and shoots (planting, watering, harvesting) - Monitor aquaponics system (water quality testing) - Assist with sustainability outreach events (setup, breakdown, student engagement) - Support waste-related initiatives - Generate social media content - Perform general office assistance and research At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers.
