Position Specific Description An ideal candidate for the Senior Category Specialist would need to blend negotiation expertise with disciplinedexecution and attention to detail to drive strong commercial outcomes. The candidate operates with a clear bias foraction, taking ownership of complex sourcing initiatives and delivering results in fast-paced environments. Job Overview This role develops and refines defined category strategies for critical and/or more complex categories. Employees in this role lead negotiations and identify improvements to secure cost savings and improve quality and efficiency. An individual in this role would also be expected to mentor category specialists and establishes benchmarks and expectations for category strategies.
