Primary Purpose of the job Adjust general liability, products liability and auto liability claims, including both bodily injury and property damage claims, in multiple states in which the Company operates. Required Education High school graduate or equivalent, as well as current residential Property and Casualty Adjusters license. Required Experience Minimum of three years hands-on experience adjusting multi-state claims. Position in Organization Reports to: Liability Claims Manager Relationship Inside the Company: All QuikTrip employees Outside the Company: Customers, attorneys, doctors, outside adjusters, and insurance companies. Confidential Info Accessible to this Person Detailed customer information (including medical records), as well as company financial data and systems Additional Criteria for Scope & Impact of Position This position must have a state adjuster's license and continuing education to meet yearly licensing requirements. Must have knowledge of medical treatment protocols and liability laws for each state in which QuikTrip is located. This position monitors liability claims on a daily basis. Contact and effective follow-up with employees, customers, attorneys, doctors and insurance companies is very extensive and helps us to control our claims costs. This position must balance QuikTrip’s philosophy of customer service with adjusting liability claims.
