Pay Range $26.00 - $33.00 Hourly Job Summary At MVHS, a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides general nursing care to patients, families and caregivers at the Rehabilitation and Nursing Center (RNC). LPNs play a vital role in providing compassionate care to our residents and their families. The Licensed Practical Nurse assists and advocates for the patient and family’s health in support of the patient centered approach and delivery model of care, and is an active care team member. Responsible for collaborating with physicians/ providers, registered professional nurses and multidisciplinary care team members, a Licensed Practical Nurse will also perform tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health coaching, and supportive care under the direction of the registered professional nurse or licensed physician or licensed health care provider. Nursing shall be performed in accordance with the standards outlined for Licensed Practical Nurse in the NYS Education Law, NYS Office of the Professions, and by the State Nurse Practice Act.
