Job Requirements Ithaca Ace Hardware is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and safety-focused Feed & Warehouse Operations Associate to support our high-volume feed and warehouse operations. This hands-on position plays an important role in keeping products moving efficiently, assisting customers with loading materials, and ensuring our warehouse remains organized, safe, and well-stocked. Key Responsibilities • Safely load and unload customer vehicles and delivery trucks with feed, wood pellets, and other bulk or bagged materials. • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to move, organize, and stock merchandise. • Assemble grills, wheelbarrows, outdoor equipment, and other products for customer purchases and in-store displays, following manufacturer instructions. • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse, including proper storage and rotation of inventory. • Assist with receiving deliveries, verifying shipments, and stocking merchandise. • Support inventory accuracy by monitoring stock levels and communicating replenishment needs. • Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service, assisting customers with product selection, loading, and general questions. • Work collaboratively with warehouse and store team members to meet daily operational needs. • Fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently, including preparing merchandise for pickup or delivery. • Follow all company safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and safe operation of equipment. Work Experience • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. • Previous warehouse, forklift, agricultural supply, or material-handling experience preferred but not required. • Forklift Certification Required • Loader Experience Preferred • Weekend availability Required • Positive and professional attitude. • Strong customer service and organizational skills. • Ability to apply basic math concepts. • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. • Ability to bend, climb, twist, and move merchandise as needed. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to process transactions efficiently using the register system. • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.; frequent lifting/carrying of up to 50 lbs. • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout shifts. • Must be able to work in an animal-friendly environment (accommodations available upon request).
