Job Requirements East West Electrical Contractors is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead day-to-day operations for a growing electrical contracting business serving residential, commercial, municipal, and generator customers throughout Northern New Jersey. This is an executive leadership opportunity for a licensed electrical professional who has successfully progressed from the field into operations, project management, and team leadership. The VP of Operations will oversee project execution, field operations, project managers, foremen, service teams, and strategic business initiatives while partnering closely with the President. What You'll Do: • Lead electrical construction and service operations • Manage project managers, foremen, electricians, and service teams • Oversee multiple residential, commercial, and public-sector projects • Drive scheduling, manpower planning, and resource allocation • Manage project profitability, labor costs, and operational performance • Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local regulations • Build strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and municipalities • Support company growth, recruiting, and succession planning Required Qualifications: • Active New Jersey Electrical Contractor License • 10+ years of electrical contracting experience • 5+ years of operations, project management, or leadership experience • Experience managing multiple crews, foremen, or project managers • Strong knowledge of residential, commercial, and municipal projects • Proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget Preferred Experience: • Generator installation and service operations • Public works, municipal, or government contracts • P&L ownership and operational budgeting • Process improvement and workforce development • Construction management software and field technology platforms Benefits: • Health Inurance • Retirement plan participation • Base Salary, Performance Bonuses & unique equity **This job is with an independent Generac dealer and not for employment with Generac Power Systems, Inc.
