We are hiring for a Title & Registration Specialist on behalf of our client, a premier nationwide automotive logistics and transport services firm. The role focuses on advancing order flow, answering questions from customers and internal staff, and removing roadblocks on orders. Duties include but not limited to: processing vehicle titles; registering vehicles with the state; issuing temporary tags and plates; gathering pertinent data points to place in orders; communicating with customers and vendors by phone and email; establishing strong relationships with customer contacts and vendors; and conducting quality checks. Location: Gainesville, VA Status: Temp-to-Hire Schedule: Mon-Friday, between 8:00am-6:00pm Compensation: $19.00/hr Responsibilities: • Process nationwide vehicle titles, registrations, and license plates across state DMVs. • Audit transfer documents, powers of attorney, and lien releases for regulatory compliance. • Resolve paperwork discrepancies with field offices, state agencies, and DMV expeditors. • Update vehicle status workflows and daily processing records in the tracking system. • Monitor state processing timelines, titling fees, and inventory metrics. • Conform with all company policies, procedures, and attendance standards. Qualifications and Key Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred. • 1-2 years of automotive title and registration experience, dealership title/registration (preferred), a call center, customer service or sales (fleet or dealership background preferred). • Familiarity with state and federal laws related to vehicle registration and title transfer is desirable. • Knowledge of multi-state DMV guidelines, tax rules, and transfer procedures. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database/tracking systems. • Strong attention to detail, organization, and written/verbal communication skills.
