Position: Lead Rubber Machine Operator Location: Akron Shift: 2nd shift - 3pm to 11pm, Plus Overtime Pay Range: $19 to $21 per hour based on experience DIRECT HIRE! PrideStaff is searching for a Lead Machine Operator for their Akron-based rubber manufacturer. Our client is looking for an experienced rubber production professional who has some previous leadership experience. A successful Lead Machine Operator will be good with people, be a strong coach, and lead the 2nd shift rubber manufacturing operation. This person will be a working Lead who will be operating a mold machine when they are not leading their team. Responsibilities: • Function as the Lead Mold Operator • Help Achieve daily production goals for themselves and 2nd shift team • Must have prior experience in rubber molds to be able to coach and lead their team • Must maintain work sechedule and do the work that is assigned priority • Must ensure all workers adhere to safe manufacturing practices at all times • Positively influence team to meet goals. • Be an effective communicatior and coach members to top performance Key Objectives: • Ensure quality through proper mold set up • Make sure the correct material is being used • Solf production or mold issues when needed • Responsible for locking up facility at the end of the day Benefits: • 7 paid holidays • Simple IRA retirement program with company match • Health benefits contributions by employer • Paid vacations
