Job Title: Import Brokerage Supervisor Company/Industry: Well-established logistics/freight forwarding company Location: Garden City, NY Salary: $80-100K/yr Commensurate with experience + benefits Status: Direct Hire, FT, On-site Mon-Fri (hybrid after 90 days) Key Responsibilities: • Oversee and support entry writers to ensure accurate and timely customs clearance • Lead departmental operations with a focus on efficiency, compliance, and profitability • Develop and maintain a strong team infrastructure, fostering reliability and accountability • Ensure full compliance with U.S. Customs and other governmental regulations • Manage all aspects of customs clearance including document review, entry processing, auditing, payment, and post-entry reconciliation • Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to support client retention and growth • Provide technical expertise and guidance on import regulations and procedures Qualifications: • Active U.S. Customs Broker License is a plus, not required • 7–10+ years of experience in import operations and customs brokerage • Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and compliance standards • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $80,000.00 - $100,000.00
