Job Opening: Warehouse Associate (Temp-to-Hire) Location: Maspeth, NY Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Pay Rate: $18.00 / hour Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a reliable and physically active Warehouse Associate for a fast-paced distribution environment in Maspeth, NY. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity for someone looking to grow with a company. Forklift training will be provided on-site! KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing freight trucks and containers. • Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, label, and stage customer orders for shipment. • General Warehouse: Maintain inventory organization, keep work areas clean and hazard-free, and assist with general facility duties as assigned. • Equipment Operation: Learn and operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (on-the-job training provided). REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS • Experience: Minimum of 6 months of recent warehouse experience (within the last 12 months). • Physical Ability: Must be comfortable on your feet all day (standing, walking, bending) and able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. • Work Ethic: Punctual, dependable, safety-conscious, and a strong team player. • Language: Basic English communication skills required to follow safety guidelines and read pick tickets.
