Bilingual Legal Assistant for workers' compensation law firm located in Irvine CA. This is a Temporary to Hire opportunity paying $23-28/hr depending on experience. This is an ON SITE position. Hours 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, M-F, overtime possible, when needed. Benefits include medical insurance and PTO. Responsibilities: • Conduct research to support legal proceedings • Communicate case information directly with applicants • Process applications • Calendar and schedule events • Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents • Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes • Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations • Record and store applicant information • Communicate with doctor's offices and insurance carriers Qualifications: • Bilingual in Spanish is a MUST • Min 2 years experience as a Paralegal or other legal field with workers' compensation • Familiarity with legal research • Ability to prioritize and multitask • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Deadline and detail-oriented Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $23.00 - $28.00 Per Hour
