You’ll work alongside our fabrication, metal, and install teams and see what you build go out the door and up on buildings across the Twin Cities. Join a small, cohesive and growing team with a great culture. The Industrial Sewing Operator is a full-time, temp to hire hire position in Rogers, MN. Industrial Sewing Operator Job Responsibilities: • Build custom awnings, covers, curtains, and fabric products from drawings, patterns, and specifications. • Plan the build sequence on complex and one-off jobs; flag issues with drawings or specs before cutting and sewing. • Set up, adjust, and operate industrial sewing machines (walking foot, double needle, and others). • Work with heavy materials including vinyl, acrylic canvas, mesh, and clear vinyl. • Inspect your own work for fit, finish, and durability before it moves on. • Hit production time standards while maintaining quality. • Keep a clean, organized, and safe workstation. Industrial Sewing Operator Job Requirements & Working Conditions: • Several years of industrial or commercial sewing experience — awnings, marine canvas, upholstery, tarps, covers, or similar. • Hands-on experience with industrial machines and the ability to set up and adjust your own machine. • The interview includes a short hands-on sewing test — your chance to show us what you can do. • Able to read drawings and specifications, measure accurately, and work from patterns. • Takes pride in clean, straight, durable work and catches problems before they ship. • Reliable, shows up, and communicates.
