Position: Millwork Estimator Location: Proximity to Islandia, NY Company/Industry: Well-established millwork shop Schedule: On-site, Mon-Fri Salary: Competitive, depending on experience, with flexibility for the right candidate Type: Direct Hire with benefits Responsibilities: • Analyze architectural drawings and specifications to develop detailed cost estimates • Lead takeoffs, scope reviews, and bid strategy for millwork projects • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment on scope and budget • Mentor junior estimators and contribute to process improvements Qualifications: • 5-8+ years of experience in millwork estimating • Strong knowledge of materials, fabrication methods, and installation practices • Proficiency in estimating software; Microvellum experience is highly preferred • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and high-value bids Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $90,000.00 - $140,000.00
