Our client in Freehold, NJ, is seeking a Direct Hire Manufacturing Shop Manager. Schedule: Mon-Thurs 7AM-4PM, Fri 7AM-1130AM Salary Range: $60-80K Responsibilities: • Supervise and mentor shop personnel, including mechanics, technicians, and support staff. • Oversee the daily operations of the shop, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of projects. • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for all shop equipment. • Oversee the repair and maintenance of equipment, ensuring minimal downtime. • Enforce all safety regulations and procedures Including PPE. • Identify opportunities for improvement in shop processes and efficiency. Requirements: • High School diploma or equivalency. • Ability to read and understand mechanical shop measuring devices. • Proven experience as a Mechanical Shop Manager or in a similar leadership role. • Experience with water jet or Laser a plus. • Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, practices, and procedures.
