This job requires someone who is comfortable following and giving orders, and someone with a careful eye who can modify and ensure correct patient performance. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT • Report patient progress and collaborate with evaluating therapist to implement therapy plan of care. • Perform comprehensive physical therapy treatment and related follow-up services, including discharge planning. • Document and submit patient reports within the established timeframe. • Collaborate with patient and other healthcare personnel or outside agencies regarding coordination of care. • Exercise clinical judgment following an occupational therapy plan of care. • Train and educate patients and family members or other support, and documents understanding of treatment plan and goals.
