This position assesses each client individually, and develops a plan of action accordingly. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT • Accurately document and maintain client records and necessary department paperwork in a timely manner. • Clean, organize, and maintain work area, and disinfect after treatment. • Assess patients' soft tissue condition, joint quality and function, muscle strength and range of motion and develop a treatment plan. • Communicate with patients about their medical histories, problems, and pain, and answer patient questions and concerns. • Perform therapeutic massage in a variety of modalities to the soft tissues and joints to provide treatment for medical conditions and injuries. QUALIFICATIONS • Required High School Diploma/GED • 1 year Massage Experience Required • Massage Therapist (MSGTHER) - State Licensing Board-Required • First Aid (AID) - American Heart Association • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - American Heart Association • Massage Therapy License/Certification from recognized school (AMTA, OBTA, ABMP) - .
