Part-Time Laundry Worker Seabury at Pomperaug Woods | Southbury, CT Looking for a part-time job that helps make a difference every weekend? Join our Environmental Services team as a Laundry Worker and play an important role in ensuring our residents have clean, fresh linens and a comfortable living environment. Schedule • Saturday & Sunday • 8-hour shifts each day • 16 hours per weekend What You'll Do • Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident and healthcare linens • Follow established infection control, safety, and laundry procedures • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary laundry area • Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently • Assist with linen deliveries throughout the community • Support the Environmental Services team with additional duties as assigned What We're Looking For • Reliable and dependable attendance • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English • Commercial laundry experience is helpful, but not required • Positive attitude and commitment to excellent service Physical Requirements • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds independently • Ability to push and pull linen carts weighing up to 100 pounds • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift • Ability to work in a warm laundry environment and perform repetitive tasks Why Join Seabury at Pomperaug Woods?
